Cannot spawn mpmale/mpfemale or saved outfits #310

I have tried multiple "fixes", also the ones mentioned by other commenters in older issues but it continues to crash Menyoo.asi.

AmazyCrazy commented 2 years ago

It seems that only an official update from MAFINS may fix it, but don't know if he's working on one or not?

I have the same problem, but I found a workaround. Spawn another multiplayer character (I recommend Claude Speed), when the model is loaded, save it as an outfit. After doing this, load that outfit. If the model has been loaded correctly, you can try to load your custom files. Please note that you must load the created file every time the game is booted, and don't change outfits like crazy, or the game will crash. In that case, load your test outfit once in a while.

even when you pick a saved outfit?

HumourNL commented 2 years ago

Yes. Even when you pick a saved outfit.

This did not work. You can't make Claude Speed turn into a mp (fe)male as the hair will turn pink and nothing will actually change about the outfit. GTA5_3z1UMLrlwe GTA5_yLSfoxx9p2

I have found the fix. Go to Update.rpf/common/data/dlclist.xml. Uncomment or remove the following line.
dlcpacks:/mpchristmas2018/

This will stop the issue with spawning mp female and mp males.

Why would this cause a problem? Weird.

Something in game version 2545 adds, or removes stuff to mpchristmas2018.

Are you still able to use that content?

This works in single player, but not sure for 5M. After opening the game, open menyoo and spawn in an MP freemode ped. Select the ped and dress them manually or with a saved outfit. When done use the 'Soul Steal' option in the 'peds option menu at the bottom.' Or you can use the 'soul steal gun' option in the 'weapons' section. After that, you'll see in the spooner data base 'Self' and 'Freemode M/F'. Both are 'you'. Long as you don't delete the freemode version in the database, you should be able to change outfits at least 5x without crashing. If you want to be cautious, go into spooner and select the freemode version and change outfits while in spooner. I haven't had a crash doing that method.
