Why can't I do tasks after replacing the protagonist's model? #667

Why can't I do tasks after replacing the protagonist's model? Special abilities cannot be used either. I can't get into the house either.

Michael, Trevor, and Franklin (excluding his Contract DLC ped model) all each have special tags for their respective abilities, activities, and safehouses. As such, they're the only ones to inhabit these tags and it makes sense as they are the characters we normally play around as in story mode and they were intentionally designed to be unique between each other so that they aren't entirely a reskin of the same character with the same style of gameplay.

In regards to accessing whoever's safehouse regardless whoever you're playing as and how far you are in the game, Enable All Interiors should help in that regard. The Character Swap mod however is the best workaround in your case as it allows you to set whatever ped (you are currently playing as) to whichever ped, whether it be one of the protags, the male/female online character, or whoever else of your choosing. In this case, it would in fact be either Michael, Trevor, or Franklin.
