The admin@masaferoutessurvey.com email should be a mailing list for those people and thus would be configured by you guys on your mail server side.
right--the incoming mail to that address is configured on our end, but the new user approvals come FROM the admin@masaferoutessurvey.org address directly TO the five users individually.
If it's the same people then it's probably best to have the email get sent to admin as well (it will be from admin to admin). That way the email addresses are configured only in one spot.
That makes sense. Am I right that the recipient of the new user email is configured on the site and not on our email server?
Ok, just checked with Pavel. Right now the email goes to everyone who is in the MassRides staff group. So you can either add users to that group, or if the set of users who get these emails should be different then we could send it to a set email address (that is configured as a group list), or we could mix the two together. However you want to do it is fine, it's easy to change.
Thanks for checking. MassRIDES has requested that not all of them should receive the new user emails. Only the two specified above (in fact, i think Leeroy does not even have an account on the site.) So i think it should be configured to go to admin@masaferoutessurvey.org and then we can configure all recipients on this end.
Thanks
Tim
Done, pointing to that email now.
Please configure so that emails regarding new users are directed to the following email addresses:
Erin.reed@dot.state.ma.us Leeroy.wagner@dot.state.ma.us treardon@mapc.org
with the subject line "MASafeRoutesSurvey.org new user [user name]"
(The current distribution list is: Samantha.Fonseca-Moreira@state.ma.us; Reardon , Tim; kristin.slaton@dot.state.ma.us; nitza.otero@dot.state.ma.us; erin.reed@state.ma.us and subject line is 'myschoolcommute.com new user [user name]")
