I took a look at this and it looks like it's timing out because there's some two ruby processes running what looks to be scripts associated with regionalindicators. They are sucking up the entire CPU (and it's only a 1 CPU server). saferoutes is getting a WORKER TIMEOUT error, so I strongly suspect it is these other processes running.
I should add this server has 1 CPU and 4 GB with 0 swap space. If it's going to be used for other things it should have 2 CPUs and more 8 GB RAM. Some swap space wouldn't hurt either.
Hi Matt C and Susan, can you look at this below (I will also send the preceding email) and make the necessary adjustments to the server so that the school commute scripts can run freely? Thanks T

Thanks, I killed that process and I see the site now.
For my reference, when did myschoolcommute get moved to AWS? I have it registered as being on Ubuntu 1.

MassRIDES has reported they are getting a 502 Bad Gateway error when they try to generate a report. i tried on my end and got the same issue.
