[Feature request] Create edge/face #26

I dramatically miss the "create edge/face" [F] function for mesh editing. Please can you add this for example as sub-tool to "insert faces"?

It seems to work fine if you press the shortcut on your keyboard but that's not a solution. I think there's quite a few little things like that missing. I think it would be nice to be able to rebind the merge button to any shortcut. Perhaps multiples, where you could switch between by hold tap.
