Missing functionality: Sms.Send() #62

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
I have successfully enabled Mobile access by using:

var fbook = session.facebook;
fbook.grantExtendedPermission("sms");

But I'm unable to find a reference to Sms.Send anywhere in the library.

Many thanks,

Rick

Below is the code I'm guessing would need to be added to the .swc in order to
get
Sms.Send to work with the Facebook AS3 API:

package com.facebook.commands.mobile {

    import com.facebook.net.FacebookCall;
    import com.facebook.utils.FacebookDataUtils;
    import com.facebook.facebook_internal;

    use namespace facebook_internal;

    /**
     * The SendSMS class represents the public
      Facebook API known as Sms.Send.
     * @see http://wiki.developers.facebook.com/index.php/Sms.send
     */
    public class SendSMS extends FacebookCall {

        public static const METHOD_NAME:String = 'sms.send';
        public static const SCHEMA:Array = ['recipients', 'subject', 'session_id',
'req_session'];

        public var recipients:Array;
        public var subject:String;
        public var session_id:String;
        public var req_session:Boolean;

        public function SendSMS(recipients:Array, subject:String, text:String, fbml:String) {
            super(METHOD_NAME);

            this.recipients = recipients;
            this.subject = subject;
            this.session_id = session_id;
            this.req_session = req_session;
        }

        override facebook_internal function initialize():void {
            applySchema(SCHEMA, FacebookDataUtils.toArrayString(recipients), subject,
session_id, req_session);
            super.facebook_internal::initialize();
        }
    }
}

Any thoughts/views from anyone would be greatly receivede.

When could I expect this functionality to be added to the next build?

Many thanks,

Rick

I've added 2 new classes to support SMS into the repositories trunk:
- com.facebook.commands.sms.SendSMS
- com.facebook.commands.sms.CanSendSMS
