namespace conflict #4

Hi @MBravoS,

my name is Stef and I have been working together with a great team on a package called splot over the past year. Pysal's splot was sheduled for a release on pypi this weekend. I would like to ask you if you would be willing to change your package name to simpleplot which I checked is still available? If this is not too much trouble for you, we would really appreciate it since it means quite a lot of work for us to change the naming.

Let me know what you think! We would be really thankful for your help!

Hi Stef,

We talked about it with @AstroRobin, the other main collaborator for this project, and we have decided changing the name of our package is the most sensible thing to do. I will look now to apply that to free splot for you and your team. And thanks you for your name suggestion, but we have found another [cheesy] short name free on PyPI.

I will close this issue when we have made all the changes.
