10 months ago Please do not delete the section about your Minecraft version, client version and game Version. Those are important factors to replicate the bug :)

Describe the bug I was underwater testing water breathing with a friend, 15 min (+/-) later I did go up on a high mountain and jump on water, I lagged and missed the water, hit an ice block. For some reason, my items and my death location (/dback) were placed on that water place from before, and I died from drowning trying to get my items. It wasn't even near.
Resume: Died and my items and death location changed to a previous place I was in that day.
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior: To Die I don't think there are more steps.
Expected behavior I expected for my items to be in the place where I died. And the dback command to send me back to where I died.

Additional context I was pretty sure I hit the water, I got like 5 seconds underwater, pressed space to go up and collected 2 buckets of water before the fall damage message. I'm not sure if this is part of the bug, or it was just a client side connection issue.
Renegade said that he died that day and his items were not there anymore. Perhaps it was this bug, Idk.
