[Actual Guide] Reregister Failed! #246

If you have this thing, heres a true guide to do that

There are two ways to fix this
  1. Read this guide (fixes most of the time)
  2. Read https://github.com/MCMrARM/mc-w10-version-launcher/issues/260#issuecomment-1599744367 (Great guide which got it working for me on another pc)

    Pre-Requisites!

  3. turn on dev mode(
    W10:

    Settings>Update & Security>For Developers > Developer Mode

    W11:

    Settings>Privacy & Security > Developer Mode)

  4. MCLauncher should be in a folder in the 'C:\Program Files' folder (the mclauncher folder's name should be short ; example: 'mcl')
  5. Minecraft, that was installed [using the Modern Minecraft Launcher OR MS Store] should be uninstalled.

    Procedure!

  6. Re-Install Any version of minecraft that you desire.
  7. Press launch. (if the problem still appears after doing the pre-requisites, ignore it and press 'ok')
  8. Press Launch Again. Boom: It launches. If it STILL doesn't work, try https://github.com/MCMrARM/mc-w10-version-launcher/issues/246#issuecomment-2269097244

extract the appx file delete appxblockmap, appxsignature and [content_types] files and appxmetadata folder

add-appxpackage .\AppxManifest.xml -register
