After many tries and a discussion on IRC channel, we understood that from the client currently is not possible to run a CTCP commands (ex. /CTCP nick VERSION).
It would be nice a new command like /CTCP.

I suggest that adding a new message type when defining an alias, so that as well as RAW there's also ENCODED so that \x01 works to send an STX byte. Though implementing CTCP would be the initial purpose
