1) Ability to set a "radius" limit. (e.g. 0=infinite(current mode), 10=21x21x21 cube centered on player, ...)
2) Brightness/transparency control, so the real view isn't completely hidden by the x-ray overlay. (I suspect this is not trivial/possible to alter the rendering in this way, or it would be done already.)
