"Update" stalls in v3.3.19 #7

When I press "Update" button it claims that is started downloading assets in the progress tab, but shows no activity whatsoever. In the console with --debug I see this:

This happens on both Windows and Mac OS X.

Related question: is there an easy way to use previous version? Having MCUpdater broken this way without an obvious way rollback to working version is pretty frustrating for me.
