What browser are you using? I only see one search label in Chrome (the one inside the text box that goes away when you start typing). The other label is for accessibility but I can remove it as it's not really needed.
@wavegod what are your opinions on removing the "Search..." text from the search box?
Firefox is the browser. I think removing both the "Search" text is the cleanest look.
Ah, I see - that second text (over the search icon) is definitely not supposed to be displayed. Firefox seems to be ignoring a padding value that hides the text (it's there for accessibility purposes but I can remove it completely).
This is what the testing is for!
@aznbo187 can you check and see if you're still getting the second 'search' text overlaid on the icon?
Removed placeholder "Search..." text in the last update, theoretically hid the snippet of text over the magnifying glass icon - @aznbo187 can you verify?
Placeholder is gone, however there is still some text residue showing up for me via Firefox.
Reopening this bug to work on the issue further...
Search box has the word Search twice, one being on the right cutoff. We could probably also simply do without the "Search" in the box...to keep a minimal feel. Opinions?
