This notification works great as long as your phone is awake. It has all that is needed but unfortunate is not reliable at all. Let me explain:
Notification works ok but as soon as some time passes dunno like 20 mins or so and phone enters to sleep mode like any normal android phone notification is not received anymore until i wake up the phone manually. As soon as I wake up the phone, I get the notification.
I am triyng to use this for alarm events and other important stuff and as you can imagine if i get the alarm 2 hours later is useless.
This is not a delay thing, this only happens when phone goes to sleep after ~ 15 - 20 minutes. If the phone is awake i get the notification on time, if i wake up the phone i get the notification right away.
What I've tried until now?
reset and setup everything again on my phone and on home assistant
remove Ariela PRO from battery optimizations on my phone even that that I should not do
make notification high priority
None of those helped.
What I recommend:
try to see what Telegram or WhatsApp uses they always get notifications on time
