Can we make the call to Google Analytics async and allow it to fail gracefully without impacting the rest of the app somehow?
Tod Casasent found this one. He tried making a heatmap in the GUI builder in FireFox. He was getting extremely slow responses between pages when clicking the next button. I tried to create the same map in FireFox and saw no apparent delays. I asked him to try again and monitor the network tab of the developers tools as I wondered if it might be caused by a plugin of some sort he had installed.
One of his plugins blocked Google Analytics. Once he disabled that plugin, the software worked as expected.
