Changes made in this Pull Request:

removes canvas from cookie repo and docs
I also noticed the pypi-check was failing on the mdakit-cookie example repo that this one pushes to: https://github.com/MDAnalysis/mdakit-cookie/actions/runs/4034275000/jobs/6935356600

I think the problem is that pypi is using the repo_name vs the package_name variable.

Earlier CI failed because of an import I forgot to remove -- so it's good to know that yes, failing cookie CI will make cookiecutter CI also fail.

(although only main_tests is run, which is why the pypi check wasn't caught.)
