I don't know if it is feasible but it would be neat if we could get travis to build the PDF after every PR/commit.

In 5cb8651e2c8ea768ca8b427f23e26db60b7914b2 I added a Makefile and also committed the oliver_beckstein/paper.pdf so that you can see what it looks like. The code in the Makefile could be the basis for CI.

That's a "nice to have" but not gonna happen before the deadline...
