Certification error #3

SSL certification error on VIDRL network - any ideas on workarounds to fetch latest data on our server? Totally understand it's not strictly a pango-collapse issue but thought you might have ideas! :) 

URLError: <urlopen error [SSL: CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED] certificate verify failed: unable to get local issuer certificate (_ssl.c:997)>
