tethering not working HELP #1226

Which device (manufacturer, type)?
HTC EVO 

Which firmware is installed?
Calkulin 3 rom v1.0

What version of wireless tether are you using?
3.1 beta 6 or pre100

the problem?
1.tether doesn't work when 'routing fix' box is check
2.only work when the routing fix box is uncheck but doesn't work without 4g 
signal

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
show log show failed enabling routing fix

Please provide any additional information below.

So when I uncheck the mms clamping box and the routing fix box tethering works 
with or without 4g signal. What are those boxes for? Do those two boxes need to 
be check? Help!!! New at this.
