Wifi tether - encryption and ad-hoc showing errors #1759

Which device (manufacturer, type)?
HTC One X+ International
Which firmware is installed?
Jelly Bean 4.2.2
What version of wireless tether are you using?
Version 3.2-beta 2
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Turn on WiFi tether
2.Grant Root Access
3.Navigate to Show Log

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It will say tethering started with errors please check log. 
Within log there are two errors
  -Setting ad-hoc mode... FAILED
  -Activating encryption (iwconfig)...FAILED
Please provide any additional information below.
