Request to support Motorola Droid

Which device (manufacturer, type)? Motorola Droid
Which firmware is installed? 2.0

This application needs root-permissions and as long the droid is not rootable 
there is 
no way ...

And don't forget this is a complete new platform (not the os but hardware) and 
we need 
to figure out a few things before we can start to rewrite the app (I should 
probably 
mention that we developers don't have such a device for testing).

Just updated to firmware version 1.56 WiFi tether no longer works. Won't start. 
Log says failed on all 
entries. I think Sprint killed u

I'm looking for testers! Looks like the droid is rootable now - so, lets make 
it work.
