Does not run full speed on 4G Connection

Which device (manufacturer, type)? HTC EVO 4G

Which firmware is installed? EViO 1.1

What version of wireless tether are you using? 2.0.5 pre8

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Make sure connected to Sprint 4G network verified on phone
2. Test speed on connection by running Speedtest application on phone got 
aroung 2200 - 3000 kbps
3. Test speed on laptop client on WIFI Tether using Speakeasy Speed Test (got 
around 600-800 kbps

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Could you please try the following - connect to the phone via adb and delete a 
certain file in the wireless-tether script:

adb shell
su
rm /data/data/android.tether/bin/fixroute.sh

Does this make any difference?
