What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Opening Program
It says No Netfilter! your kernel does not have the necessary features for 
tethering.

Thank you very much, can't wait to get this going so I can share my data, just 
as you have shared your knowledge!

The version of "wireless tether" is old and obsolete. Please try the latest 
experimental version available here:
http://code.google.com/p/android-wifi-tether/downloads/list
