Vibrant + Bluetooth Tethering = "Your phone is currently in an unknown state" #997

Which device (manufacturer, type)?
Rooted Samsung Vibrant (Mo. #SGH-T959)
Kernel = 2.6.29

Which firmware is installed?
2.1-update1

What version of wireless tether are you using?
wireless_tether_2_0_7.apk

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Download the program
2.Go to settings, checking "Use Bluetooth"
3.Hit "Start Tethering"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I anticipated it to begin tethering via Bluetooth as any other bluetooth device 
would so I could use it in junction with the Xoom.

Please provide any additional information below.
It seams to be fine for normal Wifi broadcasting but (as I can't use that for 
the Xoom it wasn't much of a priority...) and seams only to have issues with 
Bluetooth.

EXACT issue. Trying to connect to the Xoom. Would love to have resolved as WiFi 
broadcast in my office is not allowed.
