Amiga Mouse not working correctly #549

Every Amiga mouse I tested is not working correctly, only while pressing the right mouse button I can move the mouse and work with it ...

Tested on GEOS, SOLITAIR and in the Config Menu

If you connect an Amiga Mouse the behaviour is allways the same, doesn't matter what you choose in the config ... Basic will produce endless spaces and the keyboard itself isn't working anymore ... When i boot GEOS I can use the Mouse while pressing and Holding down the right Mouse Button, Keyboard still not working ...

I would like to add, that I used Amiga mouse with a MEGA65 pre-production R2 model and never noticed any issues like this one. So it seems to be a regression since then ...

I remember having had a similar problem with an early R3 (pre-series, even before DevKit). For me, setting the port to "1351 emulation" in the MEGA65 config menu solved the issue back in the days. Disclaimer: This is more than 1 year ago; not sure if this still helps.

Thanks but as I allready stated above, it doesn't matter what you choose in Config Menu, and of course I allready tested this, also on both ports

I can second that. I experience the exact same behaviour with my Amiga mice, regardless if that's a original CBM or a 3rd party one. Erratic cursor movements, printing of chars, no keyboard input and mouse only works while right mouse button is pressed. I tested that with the release 0.95 test build for batch 2

Please check that you have 1351 Mouse Emulation turned on in Configure for the appropriate port. If you still see the problem, make sure it is set to "aggressive".

The new wireless "Tank Mouse" with Tikus adapter shows similar behaviour when in Amiga mode: endless scrolling of the screen (right after boot), and/or random PETSCII characters on the display. I do not see this issue with the MouSTer, though I do not think the Tikus is at fault.
