It would be good if you could send me link to MEGA65 design files - it can be only HDMI part of design so I can just copy paste...
HDMI OUT needs 4 differential pairs
We will need to check availability for differential TDMS pins on current FPGA board and use them, one pair needs to be clock capable.
It seams that HDMI fits below FPGA board - so maybe that is good place for it?
ON this issue we will need to address 5V power supply for HDMI - currently we only have MIC 5V power supply...
Yes, that location is fine. And yes, we will need a 5V supply for it.
Replaced! Still need routing and 5V...
Use the HDMI circuit design from the MEGA65 R3 PCB schematic to implement HDMI, freeing up a number of pins (ERRATA#4). We need to verify that the necessary signal integrity is possible via the standard .1” IDC headers for this. This may mean that the first step is to make a small test PCB that has just an HDMI connector that can connect to the TE0725 via its IDC headers, in the same location as would be required on the complete PCB. a. Replace the VGA interface with HDMI interface based off the MEGA65 R3 PCB (ERRATA#4).
