analog stick settings #15

hi, i use the ds34vita puglin with that the analog stick work perfectly. But when i decide to install revita the analog stick return at same ds4vita puglin. The problem is in the diagonal run that go like in slomo, i try with ratchet and clank, thx for the support =)

This issue should have been long gone. Mby you are using older version? Pls check your install using this as a guide https://github.com/MERLev/reVita/wiki/External-Controllers

I think I'm experiencing the same problem. For games where the player can change between a slow walk and a run by how far you tilt the analog stick, I would get this behaviour where certain diagonal directions (it seems to be during exact 45 degree angles, so it's hard to notice) forces the character to a walk, despite me tilting the analog stick fully. It was happening to me in 7th Dragon 2020 in Adrenaline. This was happening on the PS Vita analog stick, not using an external controller. I installed reVita from AutoPlugin II a few hours ago. I realize AutoPlugin II gave me reVita 1.0.7. I overwrote that with 1.0.8, still same thing.

I don't know the specifics, but it's as if the analog stick can't reach the full values when in a diagonal. I had been looking at alternatives and saw this closed issue in AnalogsEnhancer, something about the ANALOG_WIDE setting being used in games that only use ANALOG.

EDIT 2: I have also tried with reVita 1.0.3, the one where you can manually toggle Analog wide mode. Whether it was on or off, that didn't fix it. So could be this bug has nothing to do with the ANALOG_WIDE setting.

EDIT: Also, to fix this, it wasn't enough to turn off from reVita's pop-up menu. I had to completely disable reVita (commented out reVita from the tai/config.txt).

Can confirm this, still has issue on diagonals. Only travels to < 0.5 not fully 1.0 on all diagonal directions. Tested on Trails of Cold Steel 1 & 2. Using the latest plugin. If you uninstall the plugin it goes back to normal.

This can be temporarily fixed by spinning the vita's stick but has only started for me recently after using reVita without this kind of issue since it released

Just chiming in here with the same issue on the latest version with Ratchet and Clank when trying to run up and slightly right. Any fixes?

Edit: when using PSTV there doesn't seem to be a problem.

@AnomalousUnderdog did you ever find a solution? I'm experiencing very specifically your version of the issue with the Vita itself, not with an external controller.
