Describe the bug
Multiple user sites and Commons network homepage are experiencing an issue where users receive an error message that reads, "Error establishing a Redis connection" "To disable Redis, delete the object-cache.php file in the /wp-content/directory." This error is sporadic, in that it does not appear for all users and occurs across devices and browsers. For example, one user of HASTAC Commons has reported the issue on mobile in private browsing, while another reported it only in a non-private window.
One user reported they only receive the message when they type their site's URL into the browser. When they link to it from other sources it works.
