Value in Affiliations Input Disappears Upon Scroll #589

Describe the bug Any value entered into the Affiliations text/dropdown input will disappear after the user scrolls, resulting in an empty input.

To Reproduce

  1. Log in to HCommons (as Rand Test user, if possible)
  2. Click on "Add a Work"
  3. Click on "Contributors and Funding"
  4. Click on "Add myself"
  5. Add a value to the Affiliations text input
  6. Scroll up or down
  7. Notice that the value disappears

Expected behavior The value inserted into the Affiliations text/dropdown input should not disappear upon scroll.
