What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. submit Query
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Instead of the search results we receive a error-message "No nodes available at
/usr/local/elsa/web/lib/API.pm line 1770"

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Elsa: Release 326
OS: Ubuntu 10.04.4 LTS

Please provide any additional information below.

This message indicates a connection problem with the nodes. Have you manually
checked that you can connect to the nodes listed under "nodes" in elsa_web.conf
using the DSN and credentials specified there?

Hello,

thanks for your response.
The problem was that the port specification in the sphinx and elsa
configuration were different.
Once we have adjusted the port informations the Query work again.

best regards

Martin

I just updated ubuntu from 10.04.4 to 12.04.1 and also ran the upgrade script.

It was working before, now getting the same error. Can you provide more direct
steps to a fix, both my elsa_node.conf and sphinx.conf file are default install
showing the same/correct port.

thanks

It sounds like searchd isn't running. Can you connect to it via mysql
-h127.0.0.1 -P9306 ?
