I know that a lot of the functionality of the lidc_data_to_nifti.py converts the DICOMS to .nrrd, but as the file name specifies .nifti, why is there this difference? There seems to be confusion between .nifti and .nrrd throughout a lot scripts. Some clarification would be appreciated.
