add Biological role: donor/acceptor #427

A number of enzyme subunits act as both, electron/proton acceptor and donor as they are passing the electrons/protons through the protein complex.

e.g. respiratory chain complexes, PMID:11884747

So, I'd guess, it would be 'electron donor' and 'electron acceptor' ? Just 'donor' and 'acceptor' seem to be rather ambiguous ?

Yes, electron donor/electron acceptor would be fine :)
