GFP variants with mutated surfaces resulting in an altered net charge (PMID:17665911). For instance, negatively charged scGFP fusion proteins are used in native gel electrophoresis mobility shift experiments in PMID:21763699.

Can you not use MI:0734 (enhanced green fluorescent protein tag) for this. We do not state what the enhancements are. If not, let me know ASAP, as I have an updated CV ready for release and can add it to that.

if eGFP means any variation of gfp then yes, I guess we can use MI:0734 for this tag...

Actually, have since been looking and eGFP refers to a very specific mutant and a very specific wavelength. I'll create a new term.
