I’m not sure what you’re looking at but this is already accounted for. I basically prioritize locations that we have better sources of information for. You will see in this diagram that both Suncor and ESSO are flagged as locations to use for Canada fuel allocation if these are either destination or origin.
Hi, the links on that diagram aren't working. So in the diagram the destination Suncor Nanaimo links to https://github.com/MIDOSS/analysis-rachael/blob/master/notebooks/monte_carlo/cargo_CAD.yaml I was just using the CAD_origin.yaml file and assuming it was used for origin only. Are you also using it for destination? Or is the link to a different file?
Sorry @SusanEAllen. I’m aware those links are out-dated. I changed the .yaml file names to be more self-consistent across and through. Naming is hard! The new file is called CAD_origin.yaml; but it’s the only file we will use for CAD as we don’t have any directionality data for CAD. Naming it CAD_origin made sense at the time....
Roger that. Naming things is hard. Could consider renaming or doing the old symbolic link: ln -s CAD_origin.yaml CAD_destination.yaml
This route should probably have the 75% bunker 25% diesel, same as Nanaimo -> Vancouver.
