Integrating D-ETM #49

Open cayaluke opened 2 years ago

Dear @silviatti ,

Related to issue #1

I would like to resubmit the feature request to integrate the DETM into your OCTIS suite. It appears the person who originally proposed issue #1 back in April 2021 has lost interest, or no longer wants to pursue this.

Is it possible if you could complete the integration?

With kindest regards Luke

Hi Luke, currently I don't have much time to dedicate to this project. Since this is a super busy period for me, I'm focusing more on the maintenance (as much as time allows me) than on the integration of additional features.

However, I'd be happy to give you my support if you want to work on a PR to integrate D-ETM :)

Best,

Silvia

Dear @silviatti

Thank you for your response.

I guess we can start with the time indexes.

I've included an extra column in the corpus.tsv file containing a time index.

What would you do to make the octis/detm model reads/loads the corpus with the indexes?

Cheers Luke

I started something, but I got lost in multiple projects now. Feel free to implement it. I would be more than happy to review and contribute if I got time. @cayaluke cayaluke

I find a new toolkit TopMost. It implements D-ETM.
