This change has been discussed and agreed between CMLA and CNES a few months ago, but was not yet implemented.
Apache 2.0 explicitly forbid to remove copyrights, and if someone embeds a modified version of s2p in her product, she has to notify her users. Also, it gives us additional protection regarding potential patent infringement.
