When I click on "Authorized users may enter here. " on https://physionet.org/works/eICUCollaborativeResearchDatabase/ it hangs forever and won't let me access the data after I indicate my username and password:

Thanks @Franck-Dernoncourt, it looks like you haven't yet been granted access to the dataset, so you will need to follow the "To apply for access, click here" link first. The "Authorized users..." link obviously shouldn't hang though, so we'll try to get this fixed.

Sounds good, thanks, sorry I wasn't sure whether to apply for a DUA again

tompollard commented 7 years ago

Thanks Franck, no problem. The original DUA was MIMIC-specific, so we're now asking for a more general one to be signed, which should be good for MIMIC, the eICU Database, and any similar content released in the future.

Just a quick update from someone in the lab who looked into the issue:

I tested clicking "Authorized users may enter here" from an account that is not approved for eICU access. I was prompted to login and when I "gave up" and clicked cancel, the expected page appeared:

======= PhysioNetWorks Authorization Required

Unlike other areas of PhysioNet, PhysioNetWorks workspaces are password-protected. The PhysioNet server could not verify that you are authorized to access this workspace.

To try again, use your browser's Reload button, and enter your PhysioNetWorks user name and password when requested.

If you have forgotten your PhysioNetWorks password, you may reset it following the instructions here.

If you do not have a PhysioNetWorks account, you may create one following the instructions here. > You may then apply for access to this workspace from your PhysioNetWorks home page.
