how to use wfdb2mat without the server if i have downloaded the file #116

Dear friends, I have .dat file of 24hr recording. I want to convert it in .mat format. Using wfdb2mat is working fine but taking 1hr for 1 file and i have 140 .dat files. I am using wfdb2mat('mitdb/recordname') but taking long time. If i am using dirctly wfdb2mat('record name ') it doesnt show any information. please advice me what should i do.
