They don't do what you expect, so you shouldn't run them for now.

make sure you have a plan for how to handle records that are uploaded before the Elements API is available - they might not have the right data

And also audit to see if there's anything that impacts the switchover to the production server on the 1st - without the library status API call, is there anything else that solenoid does that implicates Elements? Is solenoid ready for golive on the 1st even with you out of town and unable to configure Elements?

There really isn't anything else. So:

[ ] deconfigure test
[x] remove issue for prod
[x] notify Caitlin/Christine
[x] Stop paying for quotaguard (turns out we're on the free tier but removing it anyway)
[x] Remove quotaguard from code
[x] Update README

Waiting on email response to see if I just want to remove the URLs I set up, or actually deactivate the endpoints - not sure if anything else is using them.
