Parts of the public database is not updating for some users #15

There is currently an issue where parts of the public database will not update for some users. This can include new cards/tracks, track boosts for certain cards, or other parts of a new tour. I am investigating the issue and will push an update as soon as I figure out what the issue is.

In the meantime, if you are experiencing this issue please leave a comment below and I will refresh the public database manually. This will fix the issue on your end without having to wait for the app update.

I believe I am having this issue. It seems like only the tracks for the ranked cups are not updating. There are no Drivers/Karts/Gliders listed when I look at the individual tracks and the recommended D/K/Gs on the Tour/Cups section are all bottom shelf despite me having top shelf options. The other non ranked cups/tracks seem to be fine. Thanks for your help!

I am having this problem for the 2nd time now. None of the new drivers, karts, or gliders for the yoshi tour have shown up as cards, nor have any of the new updates for the new tour for that matter. I had to delete the app and re enter all my cards last time and I’m not willing to spend hours doing that again.

Hey! Yeah, no need to delete the app, if you are experiencing this issue. I just refreshed the database and everything should work for you once you open your app again. A fix for this issue is currently in beta testing and will hopefully hit the App Store soon. If the issue persists you might be experiencing another problem. Let me know if that is the case. Anyways sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for using my app.

I have been using the app for quite some time never had a problem until a few months ago. Reinstalled the app and then it was fine until it happened again this tour.

Unfortunately this is a very rare and unpredictable issue which makes it impossible to reproduce and very hard to debug. This is why I had to completly rewrite everything connecting the public database and why it took so long to address. There is an easy way to temporarily fix this issue (described above) so if you are experiencing this issue again before the update let me know. I assume your issue is fixed now?

Hi - I am having the same issue. All new cards-not able to be added. Haven’t been able to add them since new tour started

Hi - I think I found the issue as it still wasn't working. On the Ipad you need to completely close the app then reopen for it to take effect. On newer Ipads there is no home button so not that self explanatory to close them

I need the database refreshed. The bowser tour cards did not show up.

Also, the next version will unfortunately still need some time. I ran into an issue with the new calculation I need to fix before the public release, but if you are tired of waiting I would love to invite you to the Beta testers which should fix the issue for you.
