Customize the theme #25

Right now it still looks like the original repository with a very MLH'ish feel. Let's change that!

You might want to coordinate with @helenduz and @Bhavika-Gianey since they will be working on #26 which relates to the UI as well. Just to make sure you don't do twice the work with the background/cards.
