More emphasis on a code of conduct #8

Unfortunately at a lot of events, a code of conduct is mentioned at the beginning, and then not mentioned ever again. Telling sponsors about having more inclusive events, having hackers commit to it in some way, etc. makes an event feel a little bit safer for some people from the start, and keeps things in line.

I would love to see it suggested that Code of Conduct is a part of what is sent to sponsors for day of details too, as well as mentors

Both great points. I would honestly love to get to the point where every time a hacker participates in their first MLH event of the season that they sign the code of conduct and acknowledge that they've read it.

Two action items I can think of immediately though:

  1. Templates for week out emails that include COC reference: http://guide.mlh.io/#week-before
  2. More detailed list of what should be covered during the opening ceremony. Right now there's not a lot.
