For other apps to work , you have to select them in the media control. And I did test it out with the same version using the f-droid build, It works fine here. Are you sure you gave permissions for Kvaesitso. Also include the Kvaesitso version in your issue.
Weirdly enough, I'm not sure that's the problem of my memory or just of the system.
Now, when I've switched to the default launcher "Trebuchet" in lineageOS, Vanilla Music and NewTube also don't have the media control widget in the notification center.
But apparently, this is highly doubtful to be a Kvaesitso's problem.
I shall test this out in a go and provide the information of why this happened.
Or any suggestions on enabling media control widget for these programs?
I might have disabled something by chance.
I figured it out, these apps are disabled for their notifications...
One needs to enable them in the Settings -> Notifications -> App settings -> Toggle the "Most recent" to "All apps",
and finally enable those apps that one intends to appear in the media control widget of Kvaesitso.
Once again, don't forget to also select them in the "media control integration settings" of Kvaesitso :)
Sorry for disturbance..
I suggest to add this to the documentation.
The section of media control all talks about the notification permissions of Kvaesitso.
But no covering on that the user needs to first enable notification for a media player in the system settings, in order for Kvaesitso's media control widget to display it.
I have selected "Vanilla Music" for media control in the media control integration control settings.
But it and other few media players like NewTube don't work anyway.
Running Vanilla Music at version 1.3.0
However, the default "music" app in lineageOS' taimen branch, version 19 works though.
I noticed that after using Kvaesitso as the launcher, a notification as the media control widget in the notification center has now gone for some reason.
Whereas, the "music" app when playing songs appears to be a control widget in the notification center without problems.
Any ideas?
