Error on search field #721

Bonjour

Alors quand je fait une recherche avec la barre quand je veux écrire rien n'apparaît quand je tape sur le clavier dans le champ recherche.

Merci. Je ne suis pas le développeur, seulement un autre utilisateur comme vous. Ils pourront peut-être fournir de meilleures informations. D'après ce que j'ai compris ici, vous n'avez pas accordé toutes les autorisations à kvaesitso.

Pour vérifier les autorisations, accédez aux paramètres Android > applications > kvaesitso > autorisations.

Pourtant j'ai toutes les autorisations qui sont bien mise sur les paramètres de Android de l'application.....

@MM2-0 Do you have any idea what's causing the error for this user and why they cannot enter text in the search? I was just making a guess.

Haha... That's not the issue.... The user said:

So when I do a search with the bar when I want to write nothing appears when I type on the keyboard in the search field

Then they also provided the logs, which are in English.

I have met the same problem. Looks like it is unable to input CJK characters and special latin characters (Like ž) in the search field occasionally.

I am having the same issue ever since this version released when I paste something the search bar works but i cannot use the delete key on the keyboard and everything becomes buggy

This seems to happen to me under one of the following conditions: I change keyboards while the field is open, I invoke voice typing (technically a second keyboard), or the keyboard hitches and gets there a second late and as such doesn't actually type into the field. Sometimes as a result of this, one of my keyboards (Heliboard) crashes while on this field while it isn't working. This happened as of one of the recent updates. I can provide logs if needed, this was on a Pixel 8 Pro (Android 14, GrapheneOS). It's harder to break but can still be broken by switching keyboards on my OnePlus 7T Pro (Android 11).

I have met the same problem. Looks like it is unable to input CJK characters and special latin characters (Like ž) in the search field occasionally.

The problem seems to be fixed in version 1.30.0.

No seems same problem in 1.30.2

Tested on 1.30.3, issue's definitely still there, once you've switched from the keyboard you initially started with, input totally breaks.

Found another strange issue with the search bar, something here doesn't work correctly even without switching keyboards, see here

The latest release seems to have fixed these issues for me. Can anyone else reproduce any issues related to this bug?
