texmex42 — 30/11/2021 Suggestion... Color coding the background of a monster/PC entry based on current and on max/set HP set during a combat. Loki — 01/12/2021 Are you wanting something like a green background (circle) for 76%+, yellow for 51%+, orange for 26%+, and red for 1%+? Would that information be displayed on the players screen as well? texmex42 — 01/12/2021 I feel the green can be the original grey, without prejudice. But the rest seems on point. Maybe make the %s editable. And probably only on the DM side. Although giving that option could also be interesting to some DMs, bu tI don't think that might be more of a disservice to general DM description. I generally feel so overwhelmed with stuff during combat I rarely remember the original HP of the monster, how squichy they actually were, , or have the mind force to calculate on the fly the %, and if it's time for the particular monster to flee maybe make the colour scheme editable, for colour blind people to set their way Loki — 02/12/2021 I don't have an issue with players seeing this information as I usually describe monsters getting more and more beat up. They know when they are 'bloody' (red in this case) that monster is almost done, but would be good for it to be an option since DM's will likely all be different. DMHelper — 02/12/2021 I think to do this right it needs to be configurable. Obviously an option to turn on and off and then an arbitrary color gradient. Some people would want hard green-red, some a gradual curve, etc.
