My B.S. major was sociology of education so I am totally new to CS/programming but I am very much enjoying the MPCS courses so far. I am keen soccer player and committed to play for Booth soccer club. I have 8-years old daughter and my plan is to start teaching her some programming soon.

Here I am at one of my happy places: Chicago Music Exchange. After years searching for a new guitar, I brought home this axe just before quarantine. While I don't have pets, my wife would say my guitars are practically family!

Hi! I'm Anna. I'm in the full time MBA/MPCS dual degree program. Since it's the summer term, this is the only course I'm taking right now, and I'm interning full time at Okta as a Product Manager. In quarantine, I tried to keep myself sane by committing to get on my stationary bike everyday. It definitely helped a lot and I transitioned that hobby into road biking as soon as the weather started warming up. It's been a really great way to get to see more of the city!

Including a picture of my cats Cleopatra and Caesar. They were initially not pleased to have my husband and I around all day everyday during quarantine, but have come to peace with it.

Hi, I'm Mei-Chi. I am a MPCS student starting my 4th quarter. My favorite part of programming is the moment when the program works as I expect. Also, I love drinking whatever drinks with pearl. During quarantine, I've learned how to make brown sugar pearl milk myself.

This is the picture of people tubing in the water with cascades. This is a park near my place. I enjoyed tubing a lot - it really cools down the hot summer!
