Sub applications #19

Closed murdats closed 5 months ago

Created the ability to create sub applications in so we can create project functionality in satellite projects without provisioning a domain name for each one.

:O! Awesome. Will try and review this for you guys tonight or tomorrow :)

I had also added in creating/editing/deleting bindings into the control panel, till I discovered that the last 6 months of work is hidden on a release branch :S

Yeah sorry, we've been meaning to get 1.0 out for AGES but so much else has been going on for both of us. :(

Sorry about that hidden release branch (we actually have an open WIP pull request, but I can see how that could be missed). I wouldn't normally like to have so much stuff not merged in, it's bad practice as far as I'm concerned. The reason we have it like that is there are a number of breaking changes and we wanted to isolate them. We have unfortunately both been sidetracked by a number of separate personal events as Matt alluded to.

What I think I might do from here is wait until we merge in our work and then we can pull out the sub applications support from here and put it in. In the meantime, feel free to use your version of AzureWebFarm - we aren't going to change it until we get our branch merged in and 1.0 released (unless any critical bug fixes need to be applied) so it should be safe.

We are really excited about getting 1.0 out and after that we have an idea that should removed most if not all of the annoyances that currently exist with it. I can't provide an eta on 1.0 at this stage I'm afraid though.
