Adding an RSS button to our blog (or email notifications) #2378

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. No easy way to get updates ONLY on blog posts. I guess there is a way to subscribe to the MRtrix community and only request updates on the blog posts, but it is not straightforward (also, subscribing to the MRtrix community might be one step too much for many).

Describe the solution you'd like RSS button on the blog page (or the main MRtrix page) + links to news aggregator plug-ins for main browsers (the younger generation might not be familiar with RSS)

Describe alternatives you've considered A mailing list would be even better, but given the number of users MRtrix has, I think we'll have to pay for something like this (unless it can be arranged through one of our institutions)

Additional context An example:

Mailing list option:

Ok, both of these features are already there, but may not be obvious. The blog page is actually pulled directly from the announcements and blog categories of the forum. You can subscribe to these and get updates that way. This includes a mailing list (which we do indeed pay for...). RSS support is already built into the forum.

So as far as I can tell, everything can already be done. What's missing is a simple way to work this out from the main website... I think we should be able to add the requisite RSS tags to the html on the blog page (if that's how these things are expected to work? No experience...), and document somewhere how to subscribe to the mailing list on the forum and how that can be used to get updates on the relevant categories only...
