MRtrix3 provides a set of tools to perform various advanced diffusion MRI analyses, including constrained spherical deconvolution (CSD), probabilistic tractography, track-density imaging, and apparent fibre density
Generating a central Issue here as I wasn't able to find a good exemplar.
Goal is to provide satisfactory compatibility with the enhanced DICOMs generated by the Siemens XA platforms.
I have myself generated a dataset specifically for this purpose. It consists of a low-resolution T1w and low-resolution 6-direction DWI, that were then explicitly exported using a range of different settings:
"Compatibility" vs. Enhanced DICOM (metadata with enhanced DICOM first raised in #1502);
Compressed vs. uncompressed (already discussed in #2675);
With & without "Creation of DICOM filesystem" (think this just affects subdirectory creation, in which case our code should already support; but I generated all combinations nevertheless)
Multiple levels of anonymisation.
At some point I will run both our latest code and the latest dcm2niix against the whole dataset, and report back here what the major gaps are.
