Hello,
First of all, a big thank you for your great tool that we have been using for several years.
I have a little question. Recently, one of our users told us that the installation of his Dell Optiplex 5250 AIO was not successful. After checking, we noticed that our MECM offered version A09 of the Driver Pack while an A13 version was available from Dell (https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/fr-fr/000122191/optiplex-5250 -aio-windows-10-driver-pack). I thought it would be good to update it. However, in the DAT interface, when I search for this model, it does not appear. However, the A09 version that we are offering was indeed deployed via DAT in February 2019.
Is this related to the fact that Dell only maintains versions N, N-1 and N-2 of its drivers through the catalog (https://downloads.dell.com/catalog/DriverPackCatalog.cab ")?
Can a version not available in this catalog no longer be used by DAT during a task sequence, even if the driver pack is exited in MECM?
Is there a tip to continue offering driver packs for older models even if they are no longer maintained by the Dell catalog?
Thank you.
Cordially.
